MODERATION CONCERNS

When women sit down with other mothers/friends for coffee, some (like me) instantly start talking about how we do not know how to style flare jeans. Oh, how we wish skinny jeans were still in. This is the vibe that continues in Facebook groups for moms who want to remain stylish (like they are on the Real Housewives). Fashionable moms go to IG looking up pictures to share styling ideas at coffee time. That will then hopefully get shared with Facebook groups, like Mom Style Keeping Us Cute Like We Are on the Real Housewives. This is also not a place for a small company to tag all their items to sell… It is about helping other moms stay stylish with the Southern California vibe while not trying to make a dollar of their own.

Same goes for skincare products. We mention how dull our skin looks or has anyone tried filler under the eye. It is appreciated to mention who your dermatologist is and feedback on the product. This is not the place to advertise your esthetician license or teeth whitening product for your pyramid scheme.

RULES

· Be Kind: We are here to help each other look the best they can, not tear anyone down. This is a comfortable environment so we can ask questions about preventative aging. We need to be polite with our speech so that the real message can be heard.

· No self-promotion or spam: Lets help each other graciously age with genuine conversation. Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links are not allowed.

· Respect everyone’s privacy: Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic discussions make groups great but may also be sensitive and private. (Some may not want their coworkers (or husband) to know they get filler for $600 a syringe). What is shared in this group should stay in this group.

REMIDIES

· If a member tries to post an ad, it will be denied. A message to the member will also remind them of the rules like no self-promotion.

· If a member is found sharing group information like who gets QWO for their cellulite, they will be removed and banned from the group. A message will also be sent, explaining how they did not respect everyone’s privacy and broke the trust within the group.

· If someone is modeling an outfit and asking members for advice on wearing the outfit to an upcoming event and someone comments that she needs to lose 20 pounds before ever wearing it. That comment will be removed and a message to sender will remind her of the rules, like being kind.
